Day 01: Arrival Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, you are met and transferred to the hotel. After your overseas flight, relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening.
Day 02: Beijing
Your first day of touring in our capital city will begin with strolling across the Tiananmen Square - the largest and most imposing public square in the world. Through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square, you will enter the fabled Forbidden City to appreciate its majesty and magnificence. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperor, twice each year, would visit to thank the Gods for a good harvest and pray for the new one. To perfect a memorable start to your tour, you will have Beijing Duck Dinner at the famous century-old Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a fascinating Peking Opera performance. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Beijing
It is a once in a life time experience to walk upon the Badaling Great Wall of China. More than 2,500 years old, this fortification was constructed to protect China from the savage Northern tribes. After your historic visit to the Great Wall, you will visit Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs - the burial site of the royalty during the Ming Dynasty. Entrance to this sacred burial ground is via the Sacred Way, an avenue where large animal statues stand guard. Before you are transferred to the hotel, a visit to the Lama Temple is along the way. Day 04: Beijing - Guilin
This morning you will marvel at the treasures of the Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in the world. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in this romantic and beautiful city. (B, L)
Day 05: Guilin - Yangshuo
Depart your hotel in the morning. Upon arrival at the Zhujiang Dock, board your ship and start cruising on the picturesque and resplendent Li River. Lunch will be served on board. Then disembark your ship when arriving in Yangshuo - an ancient town famous for peaceful rural scenery. Check in at a three-star Paradise Resort Hotel. (B, L)
Day 06: Yangshuo
We intend to leave the day for free leisure on your own. You will feel totally relaxed while strolling across the famous West Street (Xijie), where you could sip and taste tea in a sidewalk café, or purchase souvenirs for your friends and families. For option, you could rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill and the tall Banyan Tree. (B)
Day 07: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai
After breakfast at hotel return to Guilin by car. You will visit the beautiful illuminated Reed Flute Cave, the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Seven Star Park and the Fubo Hill, each of which commands a breathtaking view. With the tour ending, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B, L)
Day 08: Shanghai
You must see and experience Shanghai to appreciate its cosmopolitan flavor.
At the Shanghai Museum, you will see first hand beauty. The museum's displays show Chinese art from ceramics to jade to furniture. After sensing Shanghai's past, you will see Shanghai's future at the TV Tower of Oriental Pearl - the world's third tallest TV tower. The remaining time is for you to enjoy the magnificent views of the City's Old Bund, its European architecture and the Yuyuan Garden. In the evening, you will be treated to a magnificent Portman Acrobatic Show. (B, L, D)
Day 09: Shanghai/Exit
Upon completion of you memorable China tour, today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. (B)
