Itinerary
DAY 01 : DELHI/SHIMLA Today on arrival at railway station/airport or by surface, meeting assistance and escorted transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit the Mall road and museum. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 02 : SHIMLA – SARAHAN 183 KMS 8/9 HRS. Today morning after breakfast get ready for the adventure which is a full day drive to Sarahan via Narkanda famous for Ski resort where we stop for lunch. Finally we reach Sarahan which commands a view of Srikhan Mahadev Peak. A mixture of Hindus and Buddhist architecture and visit the temple of Bhimakali which is having a statue of 200 years old. Overnight at Hotel Shrikhand.
DAY 03 : SARAHAN – SANGLA. 88KMS Today early morning if you wish to offer a prayer you can visit the temple for the early morning prayers and leave after breakfast for Sangla. The Baspa valley is the prettiest valley in Himachal drive via Karcham and reach Sangla built on a slope with the houses rising one above the other with Gigantic Kinnar Kailash peak dominating the scene. Overnight at hotel/Camping.
DAY 04 : SANGLA – CHITKUL This morning visit Kamru fort and temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. Leave for Chitkul which is maximum one hour drive from the Sangla and visit the Chitukul valley.. Overnight at Camping.
DAY 05 : CHITKUL - SANGLA – KALPA Drive from Chitkul to Sangla than to Kalpa 2759 Mtrs that is the district headquarter of Kinnar once a favorite haunt of lord Dalhouse. In front of Kalpa is an impressive view of Raldang Kailash massif across the Sutlej River. Overnight in tents.
DAY 06 : KALPA – TABO 145 KMS Drive to Yangthang which is 86 Kms and arrive Tabo after 27 Kms drive from Sumdo. The ancient village Tabo 3050 Mtrs. situated on the left bank of river Spiti. It is the seat one of the most famous Buddhist monasteries regarded next to the Tholong Gompa in Tibet. The monastery contains large number of scriptures and pieces of art, wall painting and Stucco. It is also know at Ajanta of Himalayas. Overnight in tents/ Hotels
DAY 07 : TABO – KAZA 47 KMS. Leave Tabo after one and half hours drive reach Dankar Gompa and visit Ghungri monastery in the Pine Valley built in 1330 AD. Continue drive to Kaza situated at 3600 Mtrs. At the foot of steep ridges and on the left bank of river Spiti is the Ki Monastery which is the biggest monastery in Spiti and is located between Kibber and Kaza, hundreds of Lamas receive their religious training in this monastery and is famous for its Murals and Books. Overnight at Camping /Hotel
DAY 08 : KAZA Day to visit Ki and Kibber monastery. Overnight at Hotel
DAY 09 : KAZA – KUMZUM LA PASS -CHOTA DHARA. Drive from Kaza to Kunzumla pass 76 Kms which is 4590 Mtrs highest pass on Spiti Lahaul road and overnight at the base of Kunzum pass. Overnight at Camping
DAY 10: CHOTA DHARA – MANALI 5/6 HRS DRIVE Drive to Gramphu, where the road meets the Manali-Leh Highway and turn towards Manali. Overnight at Hotel.(frm Kaza to Manali one take straight drive which will take about 12hrs)
DAY 11: MANALI Today we drive to Manikaran for a hot sulphur water bath, which is very relaxing at the end of a tiring dusty tour. Also visit the temple there. On the way back we visit village Naggar and its art gallery. After lunch we take a sightseeing tour of Manali, including the Hadimba Devi temple, the Mall, the library among other sites of interest. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 12: MANALI – CHANDIGARH 9/10 HRS DRIVE Drive to Chandigarh and check into hotel.. Overnight stay./(frm Mnli drive to delh will take about 14to 15 hrs)
DAY 13: CHANDIGARGH – DELHI TRAIN Today in time transfer to the railway station to connect train to Delhi

Day 09, Kaza / Keylong: Today you’ll be leaving Spiti Valley for Keylong (Lahaul Valley). Drive 190 km crossing the first motorable pass, Kunzum Pass (4551m). On the way you will find some fabulous views of the high – ranging snow clad mountains. O/n in hotel
Day 10, Keylong: Keylong (3350m), is the township of the Lahaul Valley and is a major stopover for the road travelers to Leh. Today visit to Shashur Gompa built in the 17th AD and then proceed on to Khardang Gompa, believed to be founded 900 yrs ago and was renovated In 1912. O/n hotel
Day 11, Keylong/ Manali: After breakfast drive 115 km/ 4 hrs. to Manali (2050m), over Rohtang Pass (3978m), which offers spectacular views of Pir Panjal Range, capturing Lahauls haunting beauty. Arrive in Manali and check into Hotel Rama Regency. Afternoon you can go far a stroll around the town and the colourful Mall. O/n hotel.
Day 12, Manali/ Dharamshala: After breakfast drive 235 km to Dharamshala (1387m), the headquarters and the exile home of H.H. the Dalai Lama. Arrive and check-in to hotel for overnight.
Day 13, Dharamshala: Settled along the Dhauladhar range, varying in height from 1250m at the ‘Lower Town’ bazaar to pleasant McLeodganj at 1768m. The hill station was established by the British between 1815 & 1847, but remined a minor town until the Dalai Lama settled here after Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959. Day explore the bustling bazaars and Gompas old Medical center, mmet the local Tibetan people or walk in woods. O/n hotel
Day 14,Dharamshala/ Amritsar (240 kms / 7hrs.) Morning after breakfast drive about 7hrs. to Amritsar. Afternoon visit Jalianwalah Bagh, Golden Temple & Wagah Border. O/n hotel.
Day 15, Amritsar / Chandigarh (230 kms / 6hrs.) After breakfast drive about 260 km to Chandigarh, often known as ‘the Planned City’. Chandigarh clean and beautiful City and is the state capital of Punjab and Harayana. Overnight in Hotel
Day 16, Chandigarh/ Delhi: Morning after breakfast short drive to Chandigarh Railway Station. Board the express train for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi and drive 1 hr. to hotel for Wash and Change before transfer to airport. Later transfer to the airport to board return flight back to home country, departing after 0000 hrs.
