Bandipur is located on 1030 m. ridge in Tanahu district some 143 km. from Kathmandu to the west, 73 km to the south of Pokhara, 70 km to the north of Chitwan and 8 km from Dumre Bazaar on the Prithvi Highway (Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway). Bandipur has been described as a natural view tower; indeed, one can enjoy a spectacular panorama view of the entire Annapurna Range plus the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang from here. Apart from the stunning views of the Himalaya and the Marsyangdi Valley, a visit to the town is an opportunity to get a close look at Newar cultural life. This Newar town has maintained its age-old flavour, and presents sightseers with a heady mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves and unspoiled landscapes. Close
It is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar, used to be the residence of the Nepali royal family and administrators. This ancient palace lies in the heart of the city. It consists of huge Royal palace with different temples, inside as well as outside the temple, dating from the 15th to the 18th century. This palace is named after Hanuman, the monkey god, as a stone statue of Hanuman is placed right next to the main entrance protecting the whole palace. Interesting things to see here are: Taleju Temple built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 AD, the temple of Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction, Nautalle Durbar, Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the Big Drum and the Jagannath Temple. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979.
There are also the numismatic museum and Tribhuvan Museum inside the Hanuman Dhoka Palace building. Photography is prohibited inside the museums. Close
This stupa, having hundreds of voltive shrines and other historical monuments in and around it, was built in 250 B.C. This is the largest stupa in Nepal and it displays typical Buddhist architecture. It is 3 km west of Kathmandu city and is situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu Valley and hence commands an excellent view of the Valley. This white dome is regarded as a spotless and pure jewel of Nirvana. It has thirteen tiers, representing the elevator to Nirvana, and a pair of painted eyes on all four sides of this stupa, symbolizing the all seeing eyes of the Buddha. This stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal and was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. Close
The Pashupatinath temple is the largest Hindu temple and is considered to be the holiest of all Hindu temples. This is a two tiered golden temple with four silver doorways, hundreds of Shiva linga’s , shrines and holy symbols. It is located on the holy river – Bagmati, 6 km east of Kathmandu. Non-Hindus are not allowed into the temple.
It is believed that this temple was built long before the Christian era begin. Its original beauty still remains with the beautifully sculpted stone sculptures found here. Thousands of Hindus come here each year on Shivaratri. Close
Tansen lies 1343 m above sea level, at the southern slope of Mahabharat range and most popular summer resort in western Nepal on account of its position and climate. It lies on the way from Pokhara to Sunauli and is known as the Siddhartha highway. Tansen city itself is very colorful with its old houses and slopes landscapes. It has the most extensive views of the country’s chief attraction, the Himalaya from Dhaulagiri in the west to Gaurishankar in the northeast. There are different types of people-Magar, Brahmin, Chhetri, Newar, have been living in the city. It is popular for its metal crafts and Dhaka cloth, shawls and caps. Place to visit in Tansen- Shrinagar hill Amarnarayan temple and Tansen Durbar etc.
Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha. It is situated 230 Km away from Kathmandu in the Rupandehi District of Southern Terai (lowland), at an altitude of 600 ft. above sea level. Lumbini is respected by all Buddhists. In 1998, Lumbini was declared as the Fountain of world peace and the pilgrimage for all the peace loving people of the world. This nativity site, identified by Indian Emperor Ashoka’s commemorative pillar is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The main attraction at the Lumbini remains the Sacred Garden spread over 8 sq Km and possessing all the treasures of the historic area. The Mayadevi temple is the main attraction for pilgrims and archaeologists alike. Standing west to the Mayadevi shrine is the oldest monument of Nepal, the Ashokan Pillar. The pillar was erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site.
Daman is situated 80 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu at an altitude of about 2,400m. Daman is located on the Tribhuvan Highway in between Kathmandu and the town of Birgunj. For the view of breathtaking grandeur of the world's highest peaks extending in one glittering are from far-west of Dhaulagiri to far-east of Mt. Everest there is no better place than Daman. There is a view tower fitted with long range telescopes. Daman can be reached in four hours drive from Kathmandu. Close

Day 01
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel for overnight. The rest of the day is ours to relax.
Day 02
A sightseeing tour to rich with cultural and artistic heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley, dramatic monkey temple for great valley views, visit Pashupatinath, join the Tibetan community at Bohdnath stupa and try to catch a glimpse of the living Goddess in Durbar Square
Day 3-9
Helambhu Trek: To the north of Kathmandu lies what was once a sacred and hidden land and remains today as a charming and undeveloped area. This is a land of diversity where steeply cut rice terraces and deep green valleys give way to sparsely populated forests of oak and rhododendron, set against a distant horizon of mountain peaks. It is also the home of Tamangs and Sherpas, friendly and hospitable people with strong family and cultural ties. The trek takes you from the fields of the lowlands where hand made tools and water buffalo are still used, past picturesque monasteries and brightly painted gomptas, to remote mountain villages. Though our walk crosses a wide range of elevation we do not exceed 3500 metres, so acclimatisation should not be a problem. Starting from Sundarijal our journey takes us to the delightful Tamang village of Gulbhanjyang, past the streams and meadows of Tharepati, the Sherpa Village of Tarke Gyang and finally Melamchi. Accommodation during the trek is at simple village tea houses
Day 10-11
Leaving Melamchi by bus we travel to the Kathmandu Valley and the timeless city of Bhaktapur. This is an atmospheric town of beautiful temples and palaces. Stroll the narrow lanes beneath traditional Newari wooden houses or sit in one of the many squares and become part of an authentic Nepali experience
Day 12-13
High on a ridge above the Pokhara Highway lies the little known trading village of Bandipur. Be prepared for simple lodgings and food, but more importantly the genuine friendliness of the locals and the simply stunning views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. We explore the local countryside and visit Siddha Gupha, Nepal’s largest cave
Day 14-15
Transferring by jeep to Damauli we meet up with our crew of rafting experts who lead us safely through three days of river life. Perfect for learners and intermediaries, the Seti has plenty of easy rapids as you race through a green jungle corridor full of birdlife. The water is warm, the camping is on white sandy beaches and the food is plentiful
Day 16-18
A last morning of rafting takes you to Narayanghat where a coach collects us and takes us to Royal Chitwan National Park. Covering over 1000 sq. km, this is Nepal’s most famous park and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Asia. Accompanied by expert park guides you walk through grasslands and then forest to overnight in the small village of Gatgai. Walking quietly in the forest allows us the best chance to see some of the park’s fifty-one varieties of animals including the famous one horned rhinoceros
Day 19-20
A bus returns us to Kathmandu for the early afternoon, leaving the rest of the day to explore more of this legendary city. The tour end and you're free to do more tour with us or go wherever you wish and plan or back to home.
