Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to airport for Kathmandu / Lhasa flight. Upon arrival, meet by our Tibetan representatives and transfer to Tsethang.
Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Yumbulakang Palace / Changdu Monastery. Afternoon, visit Kings' Tombs.
Day 3: Drive to Lhasa en route visit Samye Monastery.
Day 4: Sightseeing tour of Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar
Day 5: Sightseeing tour of Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Norbulinka Summer Palace.
Day 6: Free day or optional excursion in the surroundings of Lhasa.
Day 7: Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake
Day 8: Sightseeing tour of Kumbum, Palchor Chode Monastery and drive to Shigatse
Day 9: Sightseeing tour of Tashi Lunpo monastery and local market.
Day 10: Drive to Xegar en route visit Sakya Monastery.
Day 11: Drive to Zhagmu.
Day 12: Drive up to Friendship Bridge (Nepal / Tibet border). After immigration formalities drive to Kathmandu
